An integrated solution for workplace fire safety
The RED-Unit by meng combines a fire extinguisher, an evacuation plan and fire safety information in a clearly designed unit. It enhances visibility and orientation while blending harmoniously into the architecture of industrial halls, administrative buildings and public facilities.

Flexible Integration
Whether wall-mounted or installed in a corner, the RED-Unit makes intelligent use of the available space and creates a clearly defined point of reference for fire safety.

Easy to Access, Ready for Immediate Use
The fire extinguisher* is securely held in place by a powerful magnet on the rear panel and can be released with a simple movement in an emergency. The magnetic fixing ensures intuitive handling and allows the extinguisher to be removed with minimal effort. The RED-Unit is designed to accommodate fire extinguishers containing 6–9 kg or 12 kg of extinguishing agent.

A replaceable DIN A3 information module is positioned above the fire extinguisher. The site-specific evacuation plan is protected behind an anti-reflective panel and remains clearly legible at all times. A sturdy base plate with an aluminium edge trim forms the bottom of the unit and enhances its stability. The RED-Unit also provides space for site-specific fire safety information.
